Waliłko In Genk not even In the finals!

On 11th of July 2010 in city of Genk in Belgium, The Final Of European Karting Championships in KF2 and KF3 category took place. Despite of quite good times during the test drives, he didn’t manage to keep the tempo during the Friday’s time attack. 22nd pole position for upcoming heats became a huge barrier. But despite that, WallraV Racing Club ward, got thru to the 11th place. Next races weren’t so good anymore. Last heat on Sunday noon, ended up with serious collision with Kajser Racing driver right after the start. Igor with damaged steering rod managed to finish the race, but collecting 78 points, got him 49th place overall. Euro Championship in KF3 category went to Alexander Albon from UK. The detailed results can be seen on CIK-FIA web site.

If I qualify in Poland or Germany in first 5, I will get the chance to try one more time in World Cup in Portugal, and that’s the no. 1 goal for the rest of the season  (…)

Rafał’s Waliłko comment to EM Genk 2010:

(…) After event in Genk, all the sides of our team had to verify our plans and expectations. I think that this painful lesson, will just make Igor stronger in next starts. Igor qualified to the Euro Final as an only Polish driver in KF3, and that’s already an huge achievement. 49th place for almost 90 best drivers in Europe is not an easy thing. But talking about Igor, expectations are much higher, but the win doesn’t depend only on driver.(…)
