Press Announcement
On 11th of October 2010 the ACMC (The Anti-Doping Committee – FIA Medical Commission) in Paris has issued the decision in case of Igor Walilko. Committee imposed maximum possible penalty of 2 years ineligibility and cancellation of all sport results obtained from the day of doping control was carried out, where the stimulant named Nikethamid was found.
In conjunction with a number of procedural mistakes and fact that ACMC did not take under any consideration arguments of athlete’s parents (like age of the driver during the anti-doping control, presence and form of drugs containing prohibited substance, negative effect of the drug on driver’s body, inconsistent with the rules and overzealous suspending the athlete by Main Karting Sport Commission etc). It is decided as follows.
- Establishment of a group of experts that will try to deeply explain the circumstances and all the procedures of the anti-doping control that took place in Germany, related with the case.
- Appropriate law enforcement and security rules during an international competitions on Polish territory by the Main Karting Sport Commission, working on behalf of PZM
- Appeal against the decision of ACMC to Court Of Arbitration in Switzerland (CAS).
In above mentioned issues WallraV Racing Club has made official inquiry to Main Board of PZM (Polish Motosports Federation). Plenipotentiaries of the athlete made an appeal against the decision of the ACMC to Court Of Arbitration (CAS).
We will inform about the case status on fly.
With Best regards
