We are involved in motor sports in Poland for years. We support Polish and foreign drivers in financial and technical tasks. Our biggest achievements are: promotion of the six time Polish Motorbike Champion Andrzej Pawelec, and technical support for Team Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART#7) Vice-champion 2008, and World Champion 2009 in World Endurance Championships.
However, the most important issue for our management projects is the support and promotion of a very talented driver from WallraV Racing Club, Igor Walilko, during his whole sports career.
Igor is a 13-year-old teenager who is driving karts for three years. In his first racing season, he reached the fourth place in Polish Karting Championships, loosing just one point to the podium. That achievement caused that during the autumn of 2008, Igor was a target of some talent scouts from Italy and Germany. After driving tests on German race track in Karpen, where also Michael Schumacher was making his first steps in motor sports, Igor signed a contract to join Danillo Rossi Germany Team on a 2009 season in the Belgian Karting Championships in KF5 class. For a many experts of karting sport that move was quite a big surprise, because the KF5 equipment is very similar to the KF3 class, which, on fast tracks, can reach speed about 160 km/h. But Stefan Bongartz, the owner and leader of DR Germany Team, was convinced that Igor will make it.
So after 12 races during the Belgian Karting Championships Series, Igor reached to end the whole season on the third position. It's very important that all the tracks were completely new for Igor, and the some of the other top drivers were starting on those tracks for the second season. The Champion Palmare went to Max Verstappen, a son of the well known Formula 1 driver, who also was surprised by the great results of young Polish boy. Igor did well also in his own country, reaching first place in Polish Karting Cup in Rok junior class.
Also this young driver from Zielona Gora participate in all tests before every round of DJKM in 2009 season, as a test driver. This very intensive and expensive test system almost same as it is in Formula 1, caused that driver can get known with all the tracks and drivers from all around the world who are going to start in German Championships in 2010 season.
The most important thing in Igor's career, will be joining satellitee KSB Racing Team with official support of Birel Motorsport in World Karting Championships (WSK) and German Karting Championships (DJKM). Igor is a first polish karting driver who can train on his own private track (WallraV Race Center) and second, just after Robert Kubica who signed two years contract with one of the most renowned teams of the world and now he has a great chance to join elite F1 drivers in future.
